Join us and celebrate the new edition of Age of Sigmar with Spearhead Showdown!
The new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is almost upon us and we are getting hyped. To celebrate this new modular AoS ruleset, we want to invite you for a showdown of epic proportions. Welcome to the Tabletop Kingdom Spearhead Showdown!
Spearhead is a new and easy way to get into Age of Sigmar for the first time, or to try a new army. This game mode does a couple of things different then your normal game of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. First of all, it decreases the amount of rules you need to remember. The size of a battlefieldalso changes; you can now play on a board as big as a Killteam battlefield. Last but not least, you can start by getting a Spearhead box at Tabletop Kingdom, build the models, and be ready to go! Spearhead does not require any other models or listbuilding.
Now, we hear you ask: ‘So what is this Spearhead Showdown?’ Allow us to answer that question. Starting on the 13th of July and ending two months later, on September 14th, we want you to try out this new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar by playing Spearhead. By starting a new army, buidling and painting them and by (ofcourse) playing games, you will earn Showdown Points. The more points you earn, whe bigger chance you have of winning cool prizes connected to your new army! There is also a special prize in every store for the person with the most Showdown Points!
To finish this fun and exciting multi-month event, we will host a Spearhead Tournament in each of our stores on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of September. Check our event page to see get your tickets beforehand. During these tournaments we will also crown the winners of the Spearhead Showdown, and we will raffle away extra prizes between all who participated in the Showdown.
This is how you join the Spearhead Showdown:
- Buy a Spearhead box at your local Tabletop Kingdom.
- Our employees will add you to our specific Spearhead Showdown Whatsapp group.
- Whenever you reach one of the goals for earning Showdown Points, send a picture with proof in the Whatsapp group. (This does not apply to you buying a Spearhead Box).
This is how you earn points:
- Buy a Spearhead box: 1 point (can be claimed only once per bought Spearhead box)
- Finish building your Spearhead: 1 point (can be claimed only once per bought Spearhead box)
- Paint a single unit: 1 point (can be claimed only once per bought Spearhead box)
- Completely painted your Spearhead: 1 point (can be claimed only once per bought Spearhead box)
- Play a game of Spearhead at Tabletop Kingdom: 1 point
- Win a game of Spearhead at Tabletop Kingdom: 1 point
You can join the Spearhead Showdown Raffle by earning a minimum of 5 Showdown Points. The prizes you can win are as follows:
Spearhead Showdown Raffle Prizes (per store):
– Age of Sigmar Unit box under €50
– Age of sigmar hero under €30
– 6 Fanatic Colors of the new Army Painter paint range
Prize for earning the most Spearhead Points (per store):
– Age of Sigmar Unit box under €50.
