As some of you might already know, there is always something to do at Tabletop Kingdom. All our stores host different events, multiple games a week! In this article you can learn about what kind of events we run, so when you see them on our calendar, you know what they mean.
Open Days
On Open Days like Open Board Game Days or Open Miniature Days we reserve all of our tables for the specifically mentioned games. Do you and a friend want to play a game of Warhammer 40K but you don’t have space? Wanna try out a new board game before you buy it? These days are organized for you.

TTK One-Shot Nights
This one-time-a-month event is hosted by every separate Tabletop Kingdom store. The idea is easy; we arrange the table, the seats and the DM that has an awesome story prepared, you bring the enthusiasm and the will to roll. You and a couple of other players will go on an adventure for a couple of hours. The game played can be Dungeons and Dragons, but also any of the other TTRPG’s that exist. Each store puts their specific twist on this event, so check in with them beforehand how you can participate.

Prerelease Events
In the world of board games there is one type of game that hold a very special spot. Trading card games combine playing a game with a trading and gathering aspect. By getting more cards you can build better, stronger and more fun decks to play with. These new cards come out ever so often in sets, and a prerelease event is a celebration of the release of these sets. You join buy buying a ticket, which includes an amount of packs connected to the new set. Then, on the day of the event, you use the cards in these packs to play against other fans and players. If you find any special or rare cards, you are in luck! All the cards are yours to keep in the end.

Friday Night Magic
Speaking of trading card games: Since the inception of the oldest trading card game, Magic the Gathering, people want to get together and play. Luckily for those people, Friday Night Magic exists. Every Friday night our stores are reserved for casual and competitive players alike. Each store hosts their own events on these nights; casual commander, drafts, constructed tournaments, you name it. Wanna play Magic? You know where to find us.

Store Tournaments
Some people who play games also love to compete! That is exactly the reason why Store Championships exist. In these competitive competitions players show up to show that they are the best of the best in their local communities. The formats used are not casual. Think of a single elimination bracket where every game counts, or a best-of-series where players need to defeat their opponent multiple times to win. The competition will be tough and the rules of the game will be strictly adhered to, most of the times by official judges. These tournaments are not for the faint of heart, but the prizes you can win are really, really worth it!

Hobby Days
We understand that starting a new miniature game can be daunting. That is where our Hobby Days come in. We invite starting miniature painters to sit down, build, paint and chat while being around to answer all your questions about the hobby. Experienced people are also welcome to paint and chat. Creating a fun environment to hobby in, that’s the idea.

So, I hope you see that there is a lot to do at Tabletop Kingdom. This is not even half of all the events we host! Do you want to know what happens when? Check out our calendar and our social media pages.
